My heart opened toward you,
cathedral doors swung wide in welcome.
Reds and blues water across the floor—
purple etches love.
Each color, once a wound,
made holy in your eternal yellow sun.
Green—fortunate I heal for you,
because your love pushes out
all that never could sustain me.
Pink with fresh blessing,
gold with fortune.
Stars stream down,
seeds of inspiration.
I hold them safe within our embrace,
make home around you and I.
